PARENTS AND FAMILIES

Welcome to the Student to Industry Program (SIP) website.

SIP is a non-for-profit organisation that has been active in the ACT community for 13 years.

SIP works will all ACT Secondary Schools, and many businesses and industry bodies, educational organisations and community groups, and is committed to providing better outcomes for all.

Parents and families are very important when it comes to assisting young people who are making career decisions. SIP helps parents and families support their children, by giving them better information about a diverse range of education, training and employment options.

SIP gives parents access to networks and service, and guides parents to give them the knowledge and resources to assist their children in making career decisions and choosing pathways. SIP runs specific information sessions for parents, and provides information for families about opportunities for students through school newsletters and on community websites.
